The largest videos are listed by size. Shrinking one re-encodes it on the phone.
A photo can move into a vault encrypted on the device and locked with Face ID. Deleting the app deletes the vault.
People saved twice are found on the device and merged only after you confirm. Nothing is sent away.
Scans, scores, and contact matches run on the device. Clear Moments has no account and no server that receives your photos. A city name, when the app asks Apple for one, is the exception — and we never see it.
